CARS Digital Privacy System

Welcome to CARS System for Digital Privacy

A Framework for Digital Privacy and Escape from Big Tech

Privacy isn’t lost — it’s just unmapped.
CARS helps you navigate out of the Big Tech Digital Prison and Escape to Digital Freedom!

Executive Summary:

🧭 Overview

This is the official working specification for the CARS Digital Privacy System — a modular, profile-based framework for compartmentalised digital freedom.

CARS is built for individuals, educators, SIGs, privacy developers, and communities seeking to reclaim control of their digital lives.
This document defines the architecture, tooling, profile formats, SLOT structure, training alignment, and verification systems required to deploy the CARS model in practice.

It is published as a living, versioned specification and aligned with the public 10-Step Training Curriculum developed by the Digital Freedom Alliance (DFA).

What is CARS?

CARS stands for Compartmentalisation, Alternatives, Responsibility, and Security. It’s a modular system for building private digital compartments — called CARs — to help users escape surveillance-based platforms and reclaim control of their digital lives.

Each CAR includes:

  • Driver – your chosen identity (real or anonymous)
  • Vehicle – the tech stack you use
  • Destination – the task or area you’re isolating

Why It Exists

Big Tech systems track, link, and monetise your every move. CARS helps you:

  • Break that link
  • Rebuild your digital life in compartments
  • Learn privacy as a repeatable skill

What’s Included

  • 10-step training program
  • Profile templates and SLOT modules
  • Risk modeling, upgrade paths, and SIG integration
  • Tools for private sharing, publishing, and forking

Everything is open-source, modular, and designed to work offline.

Who It’s For

Everyone that values Digital Freedom including:

  • Individuals seeking privacy
  • Educators and advocates
  • Developers building freedom tools
  • Communities escaping surveillance infrastructure
