Financial Model with Example

Onboarding & Support: The Service Delivery Model

This guide outlines a flexible financial and operational model for delivering products and services within the Digital Freedom Alliance. Using the VAPA Virtual Webmaster (VVW) and VAPA Computer Troubleshooter (VCT) as examples, we demonstrate how to package expert technical systems with high-touch, privacy-focused coaching.

In this model, the price is defined by the level of onboarding and support chosen, rather than just the software itself. All support is delivered through the Digital Freedom Coaching platform—a human-centric alternative to impersonal help-desk ticketing.

Three Pathways to Implementation

1. Standard Assisted Onboarding ($375)

A baseline “Do-It-With-Help” entry point designed to ensure successful setup within the first month.

  • The Package: Includes the VAPA service and one month of “Runner Room” coaching in the secure Matrix space.
  • The Experience: Clients get a taste of direct access to professional coaches. At the end of the month, they can choose to renew or downgrade to the base “Jogger” plan.
  • Seamless Transition: If a client cancels the Runner Room, they maintain access to their VVW/VCT downloads and updates, as well as general support rooms. We provide clear instructions on how to securely back up their coaching history locally.
  • Value Proposition: This model saves clients thousands in potential technical fees by empowering them to manage their own infrastructure with minimal risk.

2. Personalized Onboarding ($1,000)

A high-touch, guided process for clients who require custom implementation and “hand-holding.”

  • The Package: Dedicated guidance within a Runner Room where a specialist helps build the client’s system.
  • Flexible Deployment: Systems can be built on our platform for ease of access to the DFA network, or kept entirely local for maximum security.
  • Skill Transfer: The primary goal is teaching the client how to use VAPA to maintain their own expert system and retain absolute control over their data.

3. Unique Member Offerings

DFA members are encouraged to create their own unique offerings or referral programs. You can set your own pricing and packaging for your specialized services, provided they align with DFA’s core principles of privacy and autonomy.

The Revenue Model (Example: VVW/VCT)

This breakdown shows how revenue is shared between the platform and the project owner.

Option 1: Standard Onboarding ($375/mo)

  • DFA Platform Share ($50): Covers infrastructure, base coaching, and operational costs.
  • Referral Payout ($25): Paid to the referrer for the base membership.
  • Project Share ($300): Goes to the project owner to provide onboarding guidance and support.
    • Note: Project owners can handle the support themselves or outsource it to the general DFA coaching pool.
  • Total Recurring Potential: $325 per month (assuming the project owner is also the referrer), less payment gateway fees.

Option 2: Personalized Onboarding ($1,000)

  • DFA Platform Share ($50): Standard infrastructure and base coaching fee.
  • Referral Payout ($25): Standard referral fee.
  • Project Share ($925): Goes to the project owner for the high-value, custom implementation.
  • Total Potential: $950 (assuming the project owner is also the referrer), less payment gateway fees.
